Content How much heat does a fireplace produce? 
Electric:  The amount of warmth generated varies, but normally around 4,500 BTU’s of heat is generated from an typical unit. However, electric fireplaces are not intended to replace a heat source. They are made to give comfort and a central element in a room. 
Gel Fuel:  It lends itself perfectly for zone heating and to keep a room warm with 3,000 BTU’s per hour per can.
