Sunjel gel fuel fireplaces operate using Sunjel™, Isopropyl Alcohol Gel. They are constantly tested for air quality assurance. This guarantees a safe, clean burning fire, every time.
Sunjel™ burns into water vapor. It is free of smoke, fumes, sparks and flying embers. It is sold in pint canisters and 30 oz refill bottles.
The Sunjel fireplace offers a ‘Real Crackling Fire’ without exterior venting or a chimney. This offers the customer a true fire experience without the typical high set up costs.
Sunjel fireplaces are sold as un-vented appliances. This eliminates the need for electrical, mechanical or natural gas services and related monthly fees. There are no bans on this product. Only un-vented gas has a state-by-state ban.
All fireplaces are zero clearance, do not require attaching. They are portable and assemble in under forty-five (45) minutes.
A manual shut-off for safety and convenience is a feature in most Sunjel Fireplaces. It will burn out in about 2 to 3 hours not shut-down manually. This provides the owner peace of mind. Some units do not have a manual shut off system. However, you may simply place the lids back on the canister.
